S Korea team

April 8-14 News, S. Korean team!! (En)

A. Missionary team from a Christian school in Seoul , S. Korea

If I would have to put it in a few words, I would say: it was one of the best missionary teams of all the times that we had missionary group visits to Vladimir CC, it was one of the biggest teams too!

We had a huge group of teenagers from a Christian school in Seoul , S. Korea!!!

Ben Horne brought the team… he is Pastor Lee’s good friend from a long ago, they used too teach at the same school together! This one time Ben shared: “ You know, Lee!.. I would have never thought that we would meet like this, here in Russia, both doing the same missionary work! “ Well, that has happened! The Lord has wonderful plans for our lives!

A group of high school students had planned a missionary trip, and their first step was going to Russia, (Vladimi and Alexandrov, Moscow).

For a lot of them, it was the first time they would openly share the gospel, on the streets and thru youth night events.

Guys were shocked with some prosecution that they had to face, and yet , at the same time.. they were sure enough, strengthened in faith! Back in S. Korea they hardly had ANY prosecution at all.. almost 40 % of the population in Seoul confess Christianity and regularly attend the local church on Sundays : )

The time in Vladimir was unforgettable !! The group has prepared several drama-skits, songs in Korean, English, and even Russian.

We had nice time having evangelism youth nights along with our local church band “Identification”

A lot of people showed up to hear the gospel and meet the S. Korean team. Everybody had nice time. Afterwards we had a tea and fellowship time together. I liked that time the most!! I saw a lot of guys that came for the first time to something like this, meeting the team, as they had a chance to witness individually and testify of their faith. They answered the questions and told about the reason why they came on mission trip. Some were just having fun, playing the games and meeting each other.

Second part of the Russia trip was to Alexandrov!

We have set up several events like street evangelism, sport events, night of fellowship and etc.

One of the these was an event for fellowship where everybody could come and meet high school students from a Christian school in Korea. We have rented a hall at “Ubileni concert hall”. The whole hall was packed. We have been working hard passing out tons of flyers out in the streets [ our office worker, Anya, liked the design for the flyers a lot!! : ) sorry for the tilted dove, lol ]

For the event, the team did dramas, sang songs and shared their wonderful testimonies . And then there was a word and an altar call several people prayed!! After the event there was such a nice fellowship, people just stuck around for tea and cookies and were anxious to meet each other. Team had chance to share about their lives and faith.

The next day we went to the children’s orphanage, to share the love of God that He has given us, and to bring some gifts.

At the end of the trip, we all went to Moscow, very early the rainy morning, just to walk around Moscow for sights, and of course, that would mean that the “Moscow Mission” would actually take place! He- he!!

Indeed, some guys were sharing the gospel right there on the Red Square with some tourists from North Korea!! WOW. We also had a nice time at “Izmailovo vernisazh” souvenir shopping place, where we bought tons of souvenirs. And oh!! Goodness !! yeah! I forgot to mention the time at McDonalds, it could have been crazy, trying to order for more then 30 people and have them all find a place to seat. There were no tears, thankfully.

The S. Korean team was very much blessed by this trip! Right guys?? Oh!! What a blessing u were here at the same time!!!

Keep up the good work!! You are awesome! You are a huge blessing to God and those you touch with your lives!!
